1. Product introduction:

Baiyun SS850 neutral silicone sealant is a one-component, neutral cure silicone sealant specially designed for construction applications. With good adhesion to aluminum, glass and most materials when using a suitable primer, SS850 is the ideal choice for bonding doors, windows and walls.

2. Specifications:

  • Test before drying (23oC, 50% RH):
    • Specific gravity: 1.45 g/cm3 (ASTM D1875)
    • Processing time: 10-20 minutes (ASTM C679)
    • Surface drying time: 30-60 minutes (ASTM C679)
    • Complete drying time: 7-14 days
    • Flow, slump or settlement: <0.1mm (ASTM C639)
    • VOC: <39g/L
  • After 21 days of curing (23oC, 50% RH):
    • Hardness, A-axis: 20-60 (ASTM D2240)
    • Variation: ±12.5% ​​(ASTM C719)
    • Strength, adhesion, tensile strength:
      • At 25% force level: 0.175 MPa (ASTM C1135)
      • At 50% force level: 0.268 MPa (ASTM C1135)

3. Structure, Properties and Characteristics:

  • Neutral glue, 1 component, RTV glue line.
  • Good elasticity in temperature range 4oC - 40oC.
  • Neutral curing, non-corrosive.
  • No unpleasant odor during vulcanization.
  • Good resistance to weather, UV rays, ozone and water.

4. Instructions for use:

  • Cut the glue nozzle and attach it to a dedicated glue gun.
  • Inject SS850 glue into the position to be constructed.

5. Expiry date and Storage:

  • Store below 27oC, keep lid tightly closed.
  • Expiry date: 12 months from date of manufacture.
